Centre for Excellence & Career Development (CECD), DIU at the Dr. M. I. Patwari Auditorium, 66, Green Road Campus of Dhaka International University

A gala Movie Fest was organized by the Centre for Excellence & Career Development (CECD), DIU at the Dr. M. I. Patwari Auditorium, 66, Green Road Campus of Dhaka International University on October 29 (Tuesday), 2019. “Education through Jollification” was the theme of the movie fest. The fest was equipped with ‘Movie-show’ and ‘Discussion session’.The fest was smash hit by dint of the active participation of DIU students from the Department of CSE, EETE, and BBA. They shared their experiences and outcomes of Movie-show in the discussion session.
Professor Sazzad Hossain addressed the role of movie fest and its positive impact for the development of students’ communication skill. Besides, Md. Anisor Rahman, Assistant Professor & Director (Acting), CECD, also focused on the continuous activities of CECD for the career development of DIU students. He inspired the students to participate actively in movie fest, workshops, and seminars regularly. Moreover, Md. Rafsan Tahmid, Assistant Professor, Md. Sakhaoat Hossain, Lecturer, and Md. Touhidul Islam, Lecturer, also took participation in the fest and emphasized the importance of these activities for the orientation of a good career ahead.
