Centre for Excellence & Career Development (CECD), DIU organizes a Gala Movie Fest at Auditorium, Permanent Campus, DIU today. The students from different departments of DIU participated in the fest. After watching the movie titled “Pursuit of Happiness”, a discussion session was held, where the students shared their views and experiences about life and the life of the protagonist of the movie, and expose their queries to the organizers about the pros and cons of the movie.

Prof. Sazzad Hossain, Dept. of English, was present in the fest and inspired the students to talk in English in their interaction regularly. Md. Anisor Rahman, Asst. Prof. Dept. of English & Director (Acting), CECD, delivered the speech and encouraged the learners to participate in the co-curricular activities arranged by CECD, DIU regularly. Amena Begum, Lecturer, and Md. Touhidul Islam, Lecturer, attended the fest and answered the queries of the students. The students enjoyed a lot and thanked CECD, DIU for arranging such a nice program for them.
